
Shopper’s Rejoice! Aldi Supermarket is Officially Coming to Maine
People are really particular about where they get their groceries. As a matter of fact, I would say that many people are grocery chain loyalists.
When it comes to where people shop, many people frequent places like Hannaford, Shaws, Sam's Club and other major retailers that are positioned all around The Pine Tree State.

However, many people wish they could do their shopping at other retailers that unfortunately don't have any locations in Maine at all. The good news for those people is that a much-wanted food market is finally breaking ground here in Vacationland.
ALdi officially comes to Maine
According to an article published by WGME 13, the wildly popular Aldi Food Mart is officially coming to Maine with its first ever location in the state. WGME reported on Thursday morning that Aldi has signed a lease at Portland's Pine Tree Shopping Center.

It looks like the food retailer is going to be taking over the space that used to belong to Big Lots at the Brighton Ave shopping complex. At this time, we don't know exactly when the store will open or just how many people it will employ, but we do know that many Mainers are going to be thrilled with this news.
They have thousands of locations
According to the Aldi website, the store currently operates about 2,500 various locations and sells everything from home decor and pet goods to school and office supplies and even apparel, shoes and accessories.

In addition to their various in-store offerings, the large food mart also offers a curbside delivery option to make shopping even more of a breeze for folks on the go.
