Today is the day half way point between the first day of summer and the first day of fall.  To be very specific..today...Wednesday, August 7th at 7:52 a.m. Eastern Time is the half way moment.  The amount of day light we are seeing is getting a little shorter each day. According to the Farmer's Almanac we are losing just over 2.5 seconds of day light each day or about 20 minutes a week. I view it as a bummer since I like summer.
