The press release indicates the the 911 caller reported that an unidentified male suspect entered the Big Apple store, displayed a firearm to the cashier and demanded cash and merchandise.
The suspect was able to flee the store before police arrived with an unspecified amount of cash and stolen merchandise. Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery, or the potential identity of the suspect, to contact the department at 626.2370 ex. 3418.
The suspect is identified as a white male, 5'3" to about 5'7" tall and was wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored shoes, a red brimmed hat and light colored jeans at the time of the robbery.
