According to the BDN, a historic waterfront mansion in Bar Harbor has been sold to the Bar Harbor Historical Society for $4.75 million.

La Rochelle, located on West Street in Bar Harbor, was built in 1902.  It was the first brick summer "cottage".  The mansion has 12 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and encompasses over 13,000 square feet.
