Martha Everatt St. Pierre, executive director of the Betsy Ann Ross House of Hope and board member, Alicia Barnes, joined us today (May 16) on the Moose Morning Show, talking about the new women's veteran home in Augusta.

The Betsy Ann Ross House of Hope is a proposed, communal home for in-need or homeless female veterans and their children, or in-transition female veterans. Their mission is to assist women veterans achieve self-sufficiency in a safe, home-like atmosphere.

They need your help in preparing the house to be inhabitable and could use donations of items and money.
