Time. It feels like for the last few months time has stood still and raced ahead all at the same time. Well, that has been the way it has felt for me. But when you think about time in regards to history things get really interesting. It becomes even more bizarre when you start to compare certain events.

Check out this list from the Huffington Post. It is a few years old BUT this is history and those dates don't change. The story has a lot of fun facts but my top one was about my favorite Golden Girl...Betty White. It turns out Betty White is older than sliced bread. Sliced bread became a thing in 1928 when a machine would slice the bread in nice equal slices. Before that bakeries sold bread unsliced so it would stay fresher. You had to slice it up at home. Betty White was born on January 17, 1922, and is 98 years old.

Betty White IS older than sliced bread!

France was still using the guillotine when "Star Wars" came out in 1977. Now the mostly out-of-date fax machine was invented the same year as the Oregon Trail migration. That was 1843. This is a good one...the Eiffel Tower was completed in 1889 that is also the same year  Nintendo was founded. YES...that Nintendo. The company started out selling cards for multiplayer games.
