Buen Apetito, located at 99 W River Road is a pretty well-known staple in Waterville and is now welcoming a powerhouse of a woman stepping in to continue the legacy of this Mexican grill as well as add some new flavors to the menu!

Meet Norma, she's introduced herself on the Buen Apetito Facebook page and I am already obsessed.

It is quickly evident that she is an exceptional person.

She was born in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico and moved to the United States back in 2003 with her Mom.

You may already know her Mom, Dalia because she has been the heart of Buen Apetito’s kitchen for over 20 years. Dalia is also joining the team as part owner.

Now, as co-owner, she's bringing fresh flavors, tons more variety, and a powerful passion for authentic Mexican food.

Norma went to Waterville High School and earned her dual bachelor's degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies and Communications with a focus on Project Management from USM, University of Southern Maine.

That means, she's not just a master boss of flavor, she knows how to run a business!
