Community Spotlight: Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels Celebrity Chef Challenge

Join me, as I have the honor of hosting the 'Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels Celebrity Chef Challenge' at the Maine Maritime Museum, Washington Street, Bath, Wednesday night, Sept. 14.

All proceeds will benefit Spectrum Generations 'Meals on Wheels' program. This is how it will work. Four local chefs from mid-coast and central Maine will compete by preparing a main dish using 'Meals on Wheels' guidelines and locally grown ingredients. Local celebrities and volunteers will be delivering meals to the tables while celebrity judges sample and score each dish to declare a champion.

There will also be a People's Choice awarded by guests. Plus, a silent auction and special reception including a cash bar and light
hors d'oeuvres prepared by each participating chef.
