Central Maine families need your help!

According to a Facebook post made by The Red Barn, they are teaming up with KVCAP in Augusta to help local families and babies in need by hosting a month-long diaper drive. Starting December 1st, people and businesses within our community are encouraged to donate baby diapers.

Diapers can be dropped off at The Red Barn's second location on State Street in Augusta anytime between now and December 31st. If you are wondering what size diapers to buy, ANY SIZE diapers will be accepted.

Did you know...

  • That 1 in 3 families has a hard time affording baby diapers.
  • Babies who remain in a soiled diaper are at higher risk for health complications.
  • Diaper rash causes irritability in the child, in turn causing undue stress on parents.
  • Undue stress and an irritable child can also lead to child abuse.

If you have any questions about this Diaper Drive event, you can call Amy at 207-859-1578.
