Two children were taken to the hospital following a Wednesday afternoon crash in Farmington.

According to the KJ, the crash, which happened at the intersection of Main Street and Farmington Falls Road, was reported just after 5 PM on Wednesday.

In the crash, A 2021 Jeep driven by 25 year old Chelsea Roderick, of Norridgewock was taking a left turn on Main Street into the Park & Ride lot when a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Nichole Lane, of New Vineyard collided with the jeep's side.

Two children, a 9 year old and a 7 year old, were in the car.  They both complained of pain and were taken by a NorthStar EMS ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital.

The road, which is also known as Route 4, was taken down to one lane until the scene had been cleaned up.

We all hope that any injuries the children had were minor and that they make a quick recovery.
