Charlie’s Subaru Teams Up with Camp Out Hunger to Supports Maine Pets in Need
This November, we’re excited to share that Charlie’s Subaru in Augusta, Maine is making a significant impact by sponsoring the pet food drive for Camp Out Hunger.
It’s the 6th annual Camp Out Hunger, from November 4 to 8.
The incredibly handsome and funny 92 Moose and B98.5 DJs will camp out in the Sam’s Club parking lot in Augusta, gathering non-perishable food donations and cash to help combat hunger in Maine.
Charlie’s Subaru will be offering a $250 discount of any vehicle with a pet food donation for Camp Out Hunger! Whoa!
And get this, they'll offer this for the entire month of November, so collection for pet food will go far beyond Camp Out Hunger!
This initiative is a wonderful way to support both people and their pets in need. It’s easy to overlook that when humans face food insecurity, their furry friends do too.
Just imagine being in a tough spot and having three dogs to feed, what do you do?
Well, we’ve got a solution.
Every pet donation made at Camp Out Hunger will directly benefit AniMeals through Spectrum Generations. This is a program to help fight hunger for pets.
And any funds raised by Charlie’s Subaru at their dealership will be donated straight to the local Kennebec Valley Humane Society and Nancy Shuman Animal Shelter. There is a beautiful connection between Charlie and the KVHS which is named after his wife, Nancy who loves animals.
There are currently so many pets that needs home at KVHS, they recently waived fees for cat adoptions, making it easier for families to welcome a new feline friend.
This beautiful partnership ensures that both people and their pets receive the support they need!
To sweeten the deal, Charlie’s Subaru is offering a $250 discount on any car purchase for anyone who donates pet food for Camp Out Hunger.
They will offer this for the entire month of November, so collection for pet food will go far beyond Camp Out Hunger!
This is a wonderful opportunity for pet lovers to give back while also treating themselves to a new ride.
The pet food drive doesn’t end with Camp Out Hunger because it will continue throughout the entire month of November. So, whether you’re looking to donate a few cans of food or make a larger contribution, every bit helps our furry friends!
