Cooper Needs Your Help With His Key Fob

So, I did SOMETHING to my car's key fob.

Not sure what.  Not even sure it was me.  Actually, I'd like to think it was the kids.  Yeah, we'll go with that as the answer.

Whatever the reason is, the LOCK button on my key no longer works.  Not a big surprise, this is a major pain in the butt.

Here's where YOU come in - assuming you know more about cars than I do (you probably do).

Should I:

A - Pay to have the key replaced (guessing it is going to be pretty pricey)

B - Pay to have a remote starter installed (there is no issue with the key itself)

Or, is there something I am missing?
