Community Spotlight: Doc + Mardie 5k, Waterville, Aug. 11

The annual 'Doc & Mardie 5k' is Saturday, Augusta 11. The 5k and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run, is an all ages run/walk, in honor of Doc & Mardie Brown. Proceeds to support Childhood Obesity Prevention programs at the Alfond Youth Center, Waterville.

There will be over $1,000 in prizes & awards and chip timing on the USATF certified course, which begins at the Alfond Youth Center on North St., Waterville.
