With all of the business closings we have seen over the last 12 months, it is always great to see the opening of a new business. Especially, when that business gives people something to do!

The old Joseph's Fireside Steakhouse in Waterville has found new life as an arcade bar!

What's that?  Exactly what it sounds like!  It's an old school arcade like the ones that 80s kids and 90s kids enjoyed when they were young that serves beer, cocktails, and pub food.

They've got a bunch of classic arcade machines, skee-ball, a basketball hoops game, and more.

They've got video game themed cocktails like The Donkey Kong (Jim Beam Apple, Disaronno, ginger ale, and a root beer barrel garnish) and the Mario (Wave cherry vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, sweet and sour mix, club soda, rock candy garnish).

If beer is more your thing, they have 50 types of craft, imported, and domestic beers.  And, showing some love for our Maine beers, they stock Cushnoc, Baxter, and Allagash.

Now that Governor Mills has rolled back her business "curfew" mandate, they have expanded their hours.  They're open from 3 PM to 11 PM Monday through Saturday and 11 AM to 9 PM on Sunday.

Find them at 99 West River Road in Waterville and check out their website HERE
