Early Sunday Morning Fire Destroys Link To Maine’s Past
An early Sunday morning fire destroyed a Waldoboro mansion with a link to Maine's past.
According to WCSH TV, there is almost nothing left of the Reed Mansion on Glidden Street following an early Sunday morning blaze. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the fire.
The mansion was an important link to Maine's history. It was the former residence of Colonel Isaac Reed, one of the designers of the Maine State Seal.
