Let’s take a trip to Waterville, Maine because this place is booming and is about to get even spicier. This June, according to Central Maine, El Tequila is preparing to open it’s doors to the public.

They are opening in the Elm Plaza right next to Bath & Body Works.

If you want to go to a town that offers so many culinary treats, it’s Downtown Waterville.

This will be a 4,500-square-foot restaurant and can hold up to 180 people. That’s a lot of tequila! You will enjoy the most authentic Mexican dishes ever. This immediately makes me want a watermelon margarita with a sugared rim.

The owner, Felipe Diaz, is no stranger to New England. He has thriving locations in Auburn, Waterboro, Saco, and Guilford, New Hampshire, as per the report.

The Diaz family has been in the restaurant business for a very long time, and they know exactly what they are doing.

They even had a spot on Western Ave. in Augusta for a brief amount of time.

The Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce is already polishing their golden scissors for the ribbon cutting.

They will be open from 11am-9pm Sunday through Thursday and 11am-10pm, Fridays and Saturdays!

Ready your self and your taste buds because El Tequila is about to level things up!
