Everything You Need to Know About the Waterville Parade of Lights

With Halloween in the rearview, it is time to start thinking about the real holiday season. Ya' know, those back-to-back holidays that flood the last few months of the year.

Once the season starts, it is really non-stop until we get to the new year.

And, as hard as it may be to comprehend, Thanksgiving is only about three weeks away.

And, immediately after Thanksgiving, we start all of the Christmas events. Between shopping events, tree lighting events, those Christmas Tree raffles, parades, and visits with Santa it seems like there is something going on every single day. The activity is nearly endless!

Most towns and cities in Maine have at least a few events planned during the holiday season.

Waterville, for example, is already getting geared up for its kickoff to the holidays.

The Waterville Parade of Lights

According to the Kringleville website, the Waterville Parade of Lights will be held on Saturday, November 25. The parade will get underway at 6 p.m., but unlike years past, this year's parade will not start off Front Street before rolling onto Main Street.

Instead, this year's parade will start at Winslow High School. From there, it will travel down Benton Ave, across the bridge, and go up Main Street in Waterville. The parade will end at the Elm / College / Maine Street crossing.

Following the parade, Santa will be lighting up the gazebo at the Town Office and the Christmas Tree in Waterville.
