Flags Directed to Fly at Half-Staff Statewide in Respect for Las Vegas Victims
Gov. Paul LePage directed the U.S. flag and also the State of Maine flag to be flown at half-staff immediately.
The directive lasts until sunset on Friday, October 6 and is out of respect for the victims of the shootings in Las Vegas Sunday evening.
Gov. LePage said, “Ann and I are incredibly saddened by the senseless shootings in Las Vegas... Our hearts and prayers go out to the innocent victims and the families who have been devastated by this unspeakable tragedy."
