Greg Michaels Hopes Your Weekend Was Full of Fun and Special Moments

Happy Easter, from me Greg Michaels and our family!

How was your weekend? I would say ours was busy on Saturday but joyous today.

Saturday started out with getting our car back after getting a few minor repairs done. We bought a Mazda 5 in late February and at the sale we negotiated a few minor repairs and they were done over the past few days and might I add, the cosmetic repairs were done well.

As soon as we were back in town after dropping off the loaner, it was off to the grocery store. I swear, shopping yesterday was like shopping on Black Friday with the amount of people in the aisles. After driving two hours and spending $350 on groceries between both BJ's Wholesale Club and Wal*Mart we were pretty tired.

Last night of course I was on the air doing the show, then it was home for Easter.

This morning, the kids beat me to their Easter baskets so I didn't get pictures of the chocolate scramble but they had fun from what I saw towards the end.

At noon we had an Easter dinner reservation at Fusion at the Ramada. A great time was had with my extended family and just as nice we didn't have to cook or clean.

Between the the Easter basket frenzy this morning and dinner at noon, this morning I downloaded over 500 pictures from my daughter Vikki's kid type digital camera. It was very interesting to see all of the candid photos. Some of the pictures were too real to post online. For example, close ups on nostrils, pictures from down low looking up at my chin, etc.

Part of the group came back after dinner to play cards in the afternoon. We played a game of Fool Your Neighbor and some played a game of Phase 10 using 20 phases.

At about 6:30 we were once again we were hungry and where he just bought groceries, we decided on going to Subway. Who knew, Sundays at Subway you can get two footlongs for $10, so we did that.

Now, here we are relaxing, putting the young one to bed while the older two are on the electronic devices. All-in-all, we had a lovely Easter weekend and I hope you did as well.
