Today will be a day of puttering around the house while Lynn is out at a craft fair helping her mother at her table. My goal this morning is to get the laundry and vacuuming done and if needed the upstairs bathroom as my son Justin had a friend sleep over. After all is finished I'll be catching the Patriots play the Saints and later at 8pm hopefully the Sox and Tigers in game #2 of the ALCS. I say hopefully because it conflicts with a few other things on TV. Yesterday was a busy fun filled day.

Yesterday morning Dylan with the The Edward Little High School (EL) marching band was in the cancer survivors parade at the Dempsey Challenge at Simard-Payne (formally known as Railroad Park) in Lewiston. The EL marching band lead Patrick Dempsey around the park with cancer survivors ending at the entertainment stage. I think this was very cool for Dylan and the rest of the students and even cooler for those who beat cancer.

From the Dempsey Challenge I went to Damariscotta to be in the Pumpinfest parade with the 'Moose Caboose.' What a crowd! LJ and I had a blast rolling through Newcastle and downtown Damariscotta. I think we blew through 500 stickers. Simply amazing! Please if you were there at the parade and have pictures of LJ and I in or by the 'Moose Caboose' FJ Cruiser, share them because I'd love to see them.

Thanks to all who came out to Pumpkinstock at Darrow's Barn as well! Great job by The Nikki Hunt Band and Boneheads.

Monday is the Pumpkinfest Regatta where people use giant pumpkins like paddle boats and race. It is quite a fun site and uber-competitive. The regatta gets underway at about 9am depending on high tide. See the schedule of events including all of the activities going on today at the 92 Moose website
