Hannaford Issues Beef Recall
If you bought ground beef at the Topsham Hannaford recently, don't eat it.
The company has issued a recall for 80% lean ground beef that was sold at its Topsham location on April 23 with a sell by date of April 24, saying in a release the meat "may contain metal fragments and should not be consumed. This item may be returned to the store for a full refund."
The company said the recall was only for meat sold in Topsham and no injuries or illnesses have been reported.
