Have You Tried Dunkin’s New Espresso Drinks?
I'm just a little bit of a coffee snob. Yes, when I first wake up, I love coffee in ALMOST all forms. But, once I'm awake, a get a little more picky about my coffee choices.
Which is why I am really excited about Dunkin's new line of espresso drinks.
They're using new state of the art espresso equipment for optimal espresso bean extraction.
What is espresso? It's a coffee drink made by forcing nearly boiling water through a small amount of FINELY ground coffee beans. It DOES have more caffeine than regular coffee, but since it is a much smaller amount, an order of espresso has less caffeine than a normal cup of coffee.
Espresso becomes the base for Dunkin' beverages like:
Latte
The creamiest espresso drink. Two-thirds of the drink is steamed milk, poured over a shot of espresso and topped with a layer of milk foam.
Cappuccino
A cappuccino is foamy and smooth. It is a classic choice for espresso drinkers made up of a shot of espresso topped with steamed milk and a thick layer of milk foam,
Macchiato
A handcrafted, layered macchiato is a rich and bold choice. A layer of steamed milk is topped with two shots of espresso, and finished with a thin layer of milk foam.
Americano
It combines two shots of espresso with water for a rich and espresso-forward drink.
Now through December 30th, you can enjoy a medium-sized Dunkin’ latte or cappuccino for $2 from 2pm-6pm
Have you tried them yet? What did you think?
