Maine DEA Arrest Two Waterville Residents on Drug Charges
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, two Waterville residents have been arrested following a month-long investigation into suspected drug trafficking from a residence on Western Avenue in Waterville.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Maine State Police, Waterville Police Department and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives carried out a search warrant Thursday, August 202th, at 15 Western Avenue.
Agents, assisted by the Maine State Police Tactical Team, Waterville police and ATF, found two firearms, approximately 15 grams of cocaine hydrochloride and 14 grams of cocaine base during the search. Investigators estimate the cocaine has a street value of about $2,900.
Grace Brown, 28, of Waterville, was arrested and charged with trafficking in Schedule W drugs. Her bail was set at $2,000.
Davyn Flynn, 20, of Waterville, was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violation of probation. Flynn was ordered held without bail.
Brown and Flynn are being held at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility.
*NOTE - All suspects are considered innocent until they are found guilty in a court of law
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are expected.
