I know I'm not the only one who's been experiencing the disappointment every time one of our favorite stores get taken away from us. It started four years ago, when Forever 21 got discontinued out of the blue in 2020. It's since been replaced by H&M, which I'm not entirely too upset about (but I do still miss a good Forever 21 romp with the girls). This is the first store we should bring back for nostalgia reasons.

Following Forever 21's closure in 2020, Olympia Sports came next on the chopping block two years later. I loved this damn store. I'm not sure why, other than that it had some unique sweatshirts I always loved to sift through. Let's bring that store back too.

This third one trumps the last two when I think about which store I'd like to see back in the Maine Mall: Abercrombie & Fitch. I actually used to work at the one in Boston. It was the job that paid my way through college, and I've watched it come such a long way. Their clothing style has evolved so much, to a point where A&F is one of my favorite places to buy jeans, because the stretch-to-jean ratio is always perfection. Sure, you can order them online, but jeans are a personal fit, and I believe you need to try them on in person in order to buy them. So please bring Abercrombie & Fitch back to the Maine Mall, we need it!
