Someone tell Charlie Brown we've found the Great Pumpkin for 2026.

The Damariscotta Pumpkinfest is back once again, and with it, its weigh-off weekend.

According to the festival's Facebook page, Elroy Morgan took home the victory with his massive pumpkin, as well as landing a new Maine state record for his long gourd of 155.25 inches. And this isn't the first time Morgan has been a big winner.

The Biggest Pumpkin in Maine for 2026

Morgan has pulled off a back-to-back win for the biggest pumpkin in Maine.

In 2025, he secured the victory with his beast of a pumpkin that weighed 1,624.5. Now, for 2026, he delivered another monster, but one that was 200 pounds more.

The Damariscotta Pumpkinfest's website listed Morgan's latest grow at 1,847 pounds. That's about the weight of a large adult male polar bear. Don't let this pumpkin roll on you!

Unfortunately, it didn't make the top 10 for all-time biggest pumpkins, but it was very, very close.

Funnily enough, the No. 10 spot belongs to Morgan, who earned that place in 2021 with 1870.5 pounds. So close!

Wondering how the top 10 stack up?

Can you believe that No. 1 spot by WGME meteorologist Charlie Lopresti? That is one heck of a pumpkin.

The people who keep entering these weigh-offs year after year must love it, because you often see the same names pop up again and again. Honestly, that's the best thing. People who love what they do make the win that much sweeter.

Will Morgan make the top 10 next year? Maybe. We'll see. Either way, good grief, he's pulled off another big pumpkin for 2026.
