Last Friday’s Rise ‘n Shine 5K in Augusta the Biggest EVER!

The twentieth anniversary of the Kennebec Savings Bank 5K for the Kennebec Valley YMCA was the biggest yet, attracting around 350 for the early morning (6:32 start) race!

Seth Hasty (pictured) came in first with a time of 17:09. The first woman finisher was Amy Oliver with an impressive 19:23.

For several years in a row, I've been at the event and we've always been able to broadcast the start of the race live!

Thanks to all who came out to the event to support the Y, a true local treasure and thanks to Mark Johnston and KSB for their continuing support.

Next year, maybe I'll run! ;-)
