Lewiston Man Found Dead in Androscoggin River

A Lewiston man has been found in Lisbon in the Androscoggin River near the former Worumbo Hydro Dam.

Lisbon Police say Peter Bickford, 52 of Lewiston was found dead after drowning at 7:15 a.m. Friday (June 19, 2015).

Police also say he wasn’t reported missing and are investigating the drowning.
