‘Tasty Tuesday’ Food Truck Extravaganza Returns to Lisbon, Maine
Located in Lisbon Falls, Maine, the Tasty Tuesday Food Truck Rally is set to be a delicious hit that celebrates community and food.
According to a press release, this event was created by the Lisbon Economic and Community Development office in partnership with Randy Smith of Pinky D’s Poutine Factory Food Truck, and has quickly become a local sensation!
This epic event features 10 different food trucks offering yummy dishes for all to enjoy!
Worumbo Riverfront Event Center on 1 Canal Street is where the magic happens, and get this: the first rally attracted about 1,200 people in the beginning, and that number has only gone up.
Tasty Tuesday is now a bi-weekly event, drawing in over 1,000 folks each time.
According to the release, this legendary rally runs from 5-8pm.
The next Tasty Tuesday will take place today, July 2, with more dates on July 16, July 30, August 13, and August 27, as per the release.
The rally is not just about enjoying delicious food, but also supporting your favorite local food trucks and non-profits!
Visitors come to explore various dishes, chat with friends and neighbors, and come together as a community!
Ross Cunningham, who is the economic and community development director for Lisbon, said,
This is a great event that brings people from miles away to Lisbon to learn about the great things we have here and to enjoy a selection of foods from food trucks who are now coming from around the state to participate.
The event has something for everyone, and promises to be an unforgettable summer!
