According to the Sun Journal, officials are seeking the public's help in figuring our who is responsible for the vandalism of display monuments Wednesday afternoon in Livermore Falls. The vandalism apparently happened Wednesday afternoon near the corners Union and Church Streets.

The stones, which were located at Finley Funeral Home but owned by Collette Monuments of Lewiston, were outside the funeral home as display pieces when they were vandalized. Ken Finley, owner of the funeral home, said that the stones were fine earlier in the day but when he left that evening to go home he noticed that they had been knocked off their foundations.

Workers from Collette Monuments will be coming out later in the week to upright the stones according to the SJ. However, in the meantime, if anyone has any word on who the person or persons responsible for the vandalism may be, you are asked to contact the Livermore Falls Police Department at 207-897-3424

A disturbing sight tonight when Ken left to go home our monument display on the corner was comprised by vandals...if anyone saw anything or anyone we would appreciate any information...Thank you
