Mac Dickson Had Homework on the First Day of School

This is why I dread the first day of school...I get homework. Just a ton of paperwork that has to be filled out and according to my daughter, "has to be back tomorrow!"

One of the sheets clearly states that we have until Tuesday, but the teachers still get the kids wound up to pressure their parents. What, do they think, that we're slackers?

What a waste of paper. I understand the need for knowledge of the information, but 95% of it is already in their files from previous years...nothing really has changed. Seems like there could be a better system with some kind of on-line check-off list.

There, that's my vent for the day. Now, I need to go put my hand in ice because I have writer's cramp!
