Maine Chef Wins On Chopped
According to the Portland Press Herald, a Portland chef won his episode of Food Network's Chopped.
Matt Ginn, of Evo Kitchen + Bar in Portland won last night's "Room for Shrooms" episode of the cooking show and took home a $10,000 prize.
Martha Stewart, who is no stranger to Maine, was a guest judge on the episode.
Evo gave Southern Maine foodies and fans of the show a chance to cheer Ginn on by holding a viewing party at the restaurant.
Following the episode, Ginn said, “It feels great to be a Chopped champion! I just did a three-course dinner for Martha Stewart and two Iron Chefs.”
