Maine has had its fair share of renowned pizza reviews over the years. From national food publications and TV shows to Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy and his 60 second pizza reviews, Maine is no stranger to foodie critics rating our eats.

But when it comes to most of those reviews, they're done at locally-owned downhome types of eateries and restaurants. But what about pizza from chains? No, not pizza chains like Papa John's and Pizza Hut, but chains like The Rusty Lantern and Circle K?

You see, gas station pizza isn't just something you 'can' get', it's something you 'need' to get. Whether you're in a hurry for a quick bite on a long drive or you're headed home from the bar at 2am. Gas station pizza has its place in Maine and beyond.

One of our favorite Maine TikTok follows, Teagan Wright, a comic and Maine lobsterman, recently did a video review of a couple slices of Maine gas station pizza. One was from a Circle K location while the other came from the Rusty Lantern.

In this edition of 'This or That', Teagan reviews both slices and describes the Circle K and says the crust is like 'The Desert of Freeport'. The Rusty Lantern pizza he said just came out of the oven and has a slight flop with beautiful coloration.

Which one came out on top? Check it out!
