Maine Ice Cream Shop Defies Tradition by Opening in Winter
This isn't something you hear about this time of year. While most ice cream shops go into hibernation for the winter in Maine, there is one that is braving the cold to make it's debut.
John’s Ice Cream Factory in Liberty is proving that cold harsh temps can’t chill their creamy vibe!
According WABI, this ice cream shop has gone against the grain and defied expectations by opening during the coldest months in Maine.
But it's not the first time, this is a beloved tradition and it's as much about community as it is about ice cream.
When is John's Ice Cream Factory opening?
They are officially open, right now!
It's funny because summer time is naturally when the ice cream starts calling out to us, but why can't we have ice cream in the winter months too? I love this idea!
