Maine Ice Skating Event This Weekend Supports Waterville Project Graduation
Looking for something fun to do this weekend while supporting a great cause? A local ice skating event in central Maine is giving you the chance to do both.
An ice skating night is happening this Saturday, April 18th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas College Ice Vault in Hallowell. The event is open to the public and costs $10 per person, which includes skate rentals.
Even better, the event is being held to benefit Waterville Project Graduation, helping support local students as they celebrate a safe and memorable graduation night.
Organizers say it’s a simple and affordable way for families, friends, and community members to get out, enjoy some time on the ice, and give back at the same time. Whether you're a seasoned skater or someone who just holds onto the wall, everyone is welcome.
The Thomas College Ice Vault is located on Whitten Road in Hallowell, and additional details, including directions and registration information, can be found through the event link shared by organizers.
With spring weather slowly arriving in Maine, this could be one of your last chances to hit the ice this season while supporting a meaningful local cause.
So if you’re looking for a Saturday night plan that’s active, affordable, and helps local students, lace up your skates and head to Hallowell.
