Maine Man Arrested After Covering Pregnant Drive-Thru Worker’s Hands in Fentanyl

A Maine man is in custody after inadvertently covering the hands of a fast-food drive-thru worker's hands in fentanyl powder on Wednesday.

According to WGME 13, it all began on Wednesday when a man in Oxford, Maine went to a restaurant drive-thru to order some food. When he got up to the window, he proceeded to pay the restaurant worker with a rolled up $10 bill.

When the worker opened up the $10 bill to put it into the cash register, a white and powdery substance spilled out all over her hands. Even after that, the man was still given his order and proceeded to leave the restaurant.

After he left, the girl, whom is reportedly pregnant according to Oxford Police Chief, Rickie Jack, began to feel sick. WGME reports that the worker was evaluated by medical personnel and was said to not have any long-lasting medical concerns after coming in contact with the powder.

A little while later, police were able to track down and arrest the suspect. 42-year-old, Erric Stack, was arrested later in the day on Wednesday and was charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and possession of a schedule W drug. As of Thursday morning, Stack was being held on $1,000 cash bail at the Oxford County Jail. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
