A Bunch of Fentanyl Was Found in This Maine Man’s Underwear
Yes, you read that right. It's sad what people will do, and the trouble they are willing to get into, all in the name of drugs. There's no doubt that there is a nationwide drug epidemic, and unfortunately Maine isn't immune from it.

According to WGME 13, police were called to the scene of a man passed out in his car at an intersection on Monday. When police arrived at the intersection of Cash Lane and King Street in Oxford, Maine, they found Chester Beauchesne, 44 of Bridgton, under the influence of drugs.
Oxford Police say they then searched the vehicle that Beauchesne had been driving. Upon their search, they located weapons, more than $1,000 in cash and several pieces of drug paraphernalia.
But what about the drugs in his underwear? WGME reports that the additional drugs were found when Beauchesne was taken to the Oxford County Jail. It was then, during a strip search, that officers located the additional contraband. More than 60 grams of fentanyl were located in the man's undergarments.
WGME continued on to explain that Beauchesne was already out on bail stemming from previous drug charges, and is now back in jail on even more drug charges.
This is a developing story and we will continue to keep it updated as more information becomes available. As of Tuesday morning, it was unclear as to which new charges Beauchesne had been booked on.
Thank you to the officers with the Oxford Police Department for working hard to keep the community and the residents safe and drugs off of the sreet.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
