Maine Man Allegedly Pees on Woman’s Couch Then Proceeds to Run Her Over Causing Severe Injuries
A Maine man is in custody and a Maine woman is in the hospital following an alleged incident that unfolded on Saturday.
According to WGME 13, 43-year-old, Ryan Mann, spent the night at his friends' house because he had reportedly had an argument with his girlfriend.
The news station reported, based on information from the Morning Sentinel, that two friends said they woke up later on to see an intoxicated Mann relieving himself on their furniture before deciding to leave in his vehicle.
One of the residents of the home tried to prevent Mann from driving because he was intoxicated, according to WGME. While she was standing there with the door open, the news station reported, Mann allegedly put the vehicle in reverse, which reportedly knocked the woman to the ground and then ran her over.
Mann allegedly fled in the vehicle but later turned himself in after a deputy with the Somerset County Sheriff's Office convinced him to, WGME said.
Mann is currently being held at the Somerset County Jail with a court date coming up in January, based on the news station's reporting.
The unnamed female victim was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland with "severe injuries," according to WGME.
