Danforth then proceeded to drive off with the mom still between the bus doors, nearly running her over according to reports.

Following the incident, Danforth was charged with assault and driving to endanger, both misdemeanors. Danforth's court date is currently set for December 13th, 2022.

WGME reported Thursday that MSAD 72 and the Superintendent had been made aware of the incident involving their driver.
