We have already had a pile of great acts perform in Downtown Augusta this summer as Waterfront Wednesday concerts are officially in full swing.

If you haven't had the chance to come down and enjoy a free show yet this year, you really are missing out. Every Wednesday evening through the summer, the City of Augusta and 92 Moose welcome you to Augusta's Waterfront Park on the West Side for a free show.

In addition to the great music, we always have a rotation of food trucks to please your taste buds, too. The best thing to do is grab your favorite blanket or a couple of camp chairs and head downtown on Wednesday evening at around 5:45- the music will start at 6pm sharp.

This week we're thrilled to have the crazy crew from The Shizzle back with us. If you've never seen them live before, The Shizzle is more than just a band, they're a literal experience.

Covering a wide array of music from 90s and 2000s pop and hip-hop, they are one of the most sought after party bands in all of Maine. Don't believe me? Check out some of these band members stage names!

Here's the Top 20 Maine Craft Beers According to BeerAdvocate

Here is a list of the 20 highest rated beers from Maine breweries on the website, BeerAdvocate.

The list is dominated by three breweries- Allagash, Bissel Brothers, and Maine Beer Co. The IPA style is clearly the most popular, which is not surprising given recent beer trends.

Research comes from Beer Advocate's Maine page in July of 2025.
