Maine Student Brings Fun Twist to School Photo Day
In a world where high school photos are often about looking polished and put together, one Maine student decided to take level it up a notch to spread some joy. His approach was all about laughter and not taking life too seriously.
Braydin Gatto, a sophomore, who attends Edward Little High School in Maine and some friends showed up for school pictures dressed as a stereotypical nerd, complete with thick glasses, a pocket protector, and suspenders.
His glasses were taped together at the nose, his hair perfectly awkward, the neon green suspenders, and braces really added to the touch. The combination of his exaggerated outfit and goofy grin had everyone cracking up.
"We came up with things to wear and a few of us went shopping together for a few things. It made picture day a little more fun and none of us worried what we were wearing.” Brayden said
Picture days can be stressful for students in an age where everything is shared online, especially by proud parents. The pressure on looks can overshadow what should be a fun, memorable experience.
So in a time where kids feel that pressure to present themselves perfectly, Braydin's decision to embrace humor and not take things so seriously is so refreshing.
They made picture day about having fun and creating memories, showing everyone that it's okay to be yourself and laugh super hard along the way!
