There is no denying that the Winter of 2020 / 2021 was really mild.  Yes, there were a lot of people who were overjoyed at the fact they did not have a lot of snow to shovel and did not have to deal with the frigid temperatures that we normally have to deal with in a regular winter.  Of course, the snowmobilers and skiers were less than happy about the lack of snow.

That being said, we have had kind of a "meh" Spring, so far.  While we have not had a lot of cold weather, we never really had the warm spring temps.

It looks like that is about to change, though.

We're about to get a preview of Summer!

According to the National Weather Service, we'll have almost a mini-heatwave on Wednesday and Thursday.

Throughout Central Maine, Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of around 79.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high of 77.

Friday will be nearly as nice.  Partly sunny with a high of about 75.

In the Portland area, it will be nearly as nice.  Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of about 77, but it will be quite a bit cooler on Thursday.  The high on Thursday will only be about 67.

Of course, it is still early in the week, so there is a chance that we could see the temps dip between now and then.
