Maine’s Iconic Beaver Brook Campground Under New Ownership & New Name
According to a post from their official Facebook Page, Central Maine's heritage campground, Beaver Brook, is now under new ownership.
The Campground, which encompasses multiple Maine towns including Wayne and Monmouth, sits on the shores of Lake Androscoggin. The campground features dozens of both seasonal and rent-by-night sites.
The resort has a beautiful and massive in-ground pool, huge water slides, a large playground, a grange-style hall, store, restaurant, bar and ice cream stand, just to name a few amenities.
According to the post, the campground has been sold to the Jellystone Park family and will now be called 'Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Augusta, Maine. We've also heard some rumors about some pretty cool enhancements and additions the new owners plan on making to the park. We'll keep you posted on those as we learn more.
Happy camping! And for more information on booking and rates, you can check out their new website and just click here.
