
The ‘Fergy’ Returns as Maine’s Iconic Luiggi’s Pizzeria Gets a Glow-Up
If you’ve walked down Sabattus Street in Lewiston right before hitting Horton Street, you remember the smell of pizza.
For while that smell disappeared, until now.
Because according to the good folks at the Sun Journal, the legendary Luiggi’s Pizzeria has officially reopened there doors. And this girlie, is excited.
Located at 63 Sabattus street and don’t you worry babes, the Fergy is still on the menu!
According to the Sun Journal, there was a change in ownership and a remodel, but they’ll still have that same delicious classic flavor.

The fresh upgrades are all thanks to Zach and Keshia Pratt who have now given the spot a total glow up transformation.
They are updating but still keeping the original recipes for the sauces, pies, calzone, and the Fergy sandwich. If you know, you know.
According to the article, they also added in a New York style deli counter. They make all of their bread in house as well as their meatballs, sausages, and provolone.

We all remember the epic Luiggi’s sign and that is also getting a llow up, keep an eye out because it will be reinstalled soon!
What's a Fergy?
For those of you who haven't had the blessed opportunity to try this sandwich, I will do my best to describe it. The delicious Fergy at Luiggi's is ham, American cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce, and mayo on Italian bread and it will take you to a place you've never been! It is famous, locally, and we are very proud it was born and bred at Luiggi's!
Luiggi’s is back and better than ever, so whether you are visiting for the first time or your a life long fan, head on over and support the new owners while diving head first into a Fergy.
