March 10th is ‘National Pack Your Own Lunch Day’ – What Did You Have For Lunch Today?

Today, March 10, is 'National Pack Your Own Lunch Day'. I admit I'd rather starve than pack my own lunch. I say that in jest, but I don't normally pack a lunch unless I hit the grocery store for a couple of Hot Pockets or Hungry Man Meal, etc.

I will say, I usually eat a big meal right before I leave for work, so I'm not usually hungry until about the time I leave in the evening so don't feel too sorry for me.

As a kid, we didn't have a cafeteria at our elementary school. I'm guessing because most of us went home. But if I didn't go home, I always brought a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, apple and candy bar Mom put together for me.
