Experience the Magic: Matilda Comes to the Waterville Opera House

The Waterville Opera House will turn into a world of wonder with their newest sensation, Roald Dahl’s Matilda, taking center stage.

This musical is for adults and kiddos.

I remember growing up and being obsessed with watching the film adaptation of Matilda on repeat. The musical is based on the epic children’s book which will promise to be an experience for all ages!

Never heard of Matilda? You are certainly in for a treat.

Matilda tells a story about a magical little girl with incredible powers.

As per IMDB, “A girl gifted with a keen intellect and psychic powers uses both to get even with her callous family and free her kindly schoolteacher from the tyrannical grip of a sadistic headmistress.”

The performance at the legendary Waterville Opera House, located at 1 Common Street in Waterville will be showing from April 25 to May 4, 2025. This show may still be a little ways off, but it's definitely one to mark on your calendar. You can check out the event page here.

Tickets for this event are priced at $34 - $36, including a per-ticket handling fee.

A portion of the fees will support the Youth Arts Access Fund via Waterville Creates. Also, the tickets for this show are nonrefundable.
