Hi Friends, Matt here. For the record I would like everyone to know that this was an 'I told you so' moment here at Camp Out Hunger. And since it's not often that I'm right, about literally anything, I'm taking full advantage of telling you all about it.

It all started on Monday when we began setup for the event here at Sam's Club in Augusta. We were getting the U-Haul trucks and campers all situated and placed in their appropriate spots.

As we were all mingling around and discussing the 'floor plan' for the event, Lizzy nonchalantly spit her gum out on the ground. I immediately told her that would come back to bite us and would end up on someone or something. She disagreed.

Fast forward to day one of Camp Out Hunger. We had a decent breeze coming through the parking lot here at Sam's Club. So much of a breeze, in fact, that it blew down one of our massive 4x8 COH signs. The sign landed face down in the parking lot and, you guessed it, right on Lizzy's two-day-old gum.

Now, because it's so cold, we can't even get the gum off the sign. Pretty sure we're gonna need a blowtorch and an ice scraper to get it done..neither of which we have here.

A Look At An Abandoned Maine Ski Area

Located in the Western Maine town of Stoneham, this ski area opened in 1972 and, sadly, did not have much longevity. It closed for good in 1982. The following photo gallery is made up of screen captures of videos done by Shaggy VanDwellington and Lindsey and Nora
