Motor Vehicle Accident On Bangor Street In Augusta

UPDATE @ 4 PM on June 15th

According to the KJ, the crash was between a pickup truck and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was LifeFlighted from the scene.

The impact caused the motorcycle to land in the bed of the truck.

Law enforcement is in the process of reconstructing the accident.

We're getting reports from listeners that police are on the scene of a traffic crash on Bangor Street in Augusta.

Based on the photos and reports we have recieved, the accident appears to have taken place near the intersection of Bangor Street and Quimby Street.  It sounds as though the accident happened at around 2 PM today (June 15th)

We are being told that traffic is moving, slowly.  So, you may want to find an alternate route.

Our thoughts are with all those involved.
