At first, when we heard on the Moose Morning Show about Leonard Crocker, who is employed by Monmouth Public Works, we thought that the mysterious woman who showed up in a red mustang, and possibly saved his life, may have been an angel sent from above to perform this one task. Eventually, we found out that, while she was an angel, she is of this world..

Hayley Rolfe, who goes to nursing school in Auburn and will graduate this spring as a Registered Nurse, saw a need as she and her family were driving by. A man, Leonard Crocker, was laying next to his truck. As a compassionate human being and nurse, she was compelled to stop and try to help. She plays down her role but, make no mistake, she IS a hero and any one of us would welcome her at a time of need. Listen to her tell the story.
