Mystery Pig on the Loose in Oakland

Officials are still looking for a pig in Oakland. The pig is wanted for frightening two kids so badly that they flagged down a police officer Tuesday afternoon. According to centralmaine.com the kids were walking the trail between Messalonskee Middle and High schools when a screaming pig confronted them and chased them.

The search for the pig was not successful, but officers and animal control did turn up tracks that confirmed the presence of the pig. Unless the animal continues to cause problems, locating the slippery swine is not a high priority.
