[UPDATE] One Person is Dead in a Multi-Vehicle Accident in Windsor This Afternoon

Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says one person was killed this afternoon and another seriously injured in a crash in Windsor on Route 17. The accident occurred around 1:30 pm near Peaslee's store.

Authorities have identified the deceased as Helen Hinckley, 76, of Whitefield. She was killed and Rita Cushman, 65, of Livermore Falls was seriously injured, in the head-on collision near the Windsor-Whitefield town line.
